Our office is located on the second floor of the Gadsden-Dewees House, built sometime between 1800 and 1805 on land owned by Christopher Gadsden.  Gadsden was the principal leader of the Patriot movement in South Carolina, a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congress, and Brigadier General in charge of South Carolina’s military forces. He was also the designer of the Gadsden Flag, the enduring symbol of liberty and determination that bears a coiled rattlesnake and the slogan ”Don’t Tread on Me.”  We incorporate these same ideals when working on behalf of our clients.
