Michelle practices in the areas of civil litigation and business litigation. She represents individuals and business entities in disputes arising out of business relationships involving contractual and business tort claims, including claims of fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of fiduciary duty. She also advises clients relating to the enforceability of restrictive covenants, including covenants not to compete and non-solicitation agreements, and drafts and negotiates settlement agreements, releases, and other transactional documents.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Michelle moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston where she earned a B.A. in Philosophy. While at the Charleston School of Law, Michelle spent much of her time as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem in Charleston County, earning her special recognition at graduation for her dedication to pro bono work.
