Taylor was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Charleston in 2002. After graduating with a B.A. in Criminal Justice from The Citadel in 2006, Taylor attended law school at the Charleston School of Law, where he graduated in 2011.
Prior to joining Lesemann & Associates, Taylor served as a law clerk to South Carolina Circuit Judge Larry B. Hyman, Jr. Taylor assisted Judge Hyman with all phases of civil and criminal trials, including pre-trial and post-trial motions, evidentiary rulings, and conducted extensive research in various class actions, medical malpractice and wrongful death actions, and a death penalty case. Taylor also worked at a large national plaintiff’s firm on cases assisting people who were harmed by products that contained asbestos.
While at Lesemann & Associates, Taylor has helped, and works closely with, clients to achieve successful results in wrongful death cases where a loved one was killed or harmed because of the negligence or reckless actions of others. Taylor has also obtained successful results in dram shop lawsuits, where he has recovered successful results for his clients who were hurt or killed by a drunk driver as well as the bar or restaurant where the drunk driver was served any alcohol. Taylor also works on motor vehicle accidents, personal injury cases, and business disputes.
